Right out the gate here I want to say this - as a wedding photographer/videographer, I absolutely love manor weddings. Being all in one place makes it such an easy and intimate wedding, and candid moments are found absolutely everywhere. If you have the opportunity to get one as your venue then do it! (Hire me for it too and you'll easily become one of my favourite couples for the year!)

Georgina and Josh's wedding at The Greenway Hotel in Cheltenham was no exception, and was a beautiful and intimate affair, filled with love, laughter, and more than a few tears - the good ones only, of course,.

The morning of the wedding was spent getting ready inside the gorgeous Greenway Hotel rooms, with the bride getting her makeup done and the groom getting suited up. The groom was even brought to tears by a letter he received before the wedding even started - and as soon as I saw that I knew we were off to an easy day of shooting.

I was lucky enough to be given the chance to bring my team along to shoot both photo and video for this wedding, which allows me to focus on the photos and work closely with my videographers to make sure we capture every happy moment. So combine manor wedding with the perfect wedding couple and a videography crew I knew had my back - the day was absolutely a highlight of my year.

The ceremony was held in a beautiful room downstairs at The Greenway, surrounded by close family and friends.

After the ceremony, we took a photoshoot outside in the hotel's incredible gardens, surrounded by sprawling trees and hedgerows that may as well have been from Harry Potter. As we walked through the gardens, chatting away and finding spots for gorgeous photos, we stumbled upon a huge tree that looked like a bolt of lightning and snapped a truly stunning photo. Thanks for that one, Thor.

The reception was, of course, in the Greenway too, transformed once again into a gorgeous banquet hall. And let me tell you, the head table for the meal was absolutely stunning, covered in greenery and twinkling lights. It was the perfect setting for the newlyweds to enjoy their first meal as husband and wife! Follow that with some hilarious speeches and you've got yourself a combo that just can't go wrong.

And as it was a Christmas wedding, they even managed to get Santa to come down and give presents to the children! That was a surprise for us too, but he wouldn't tell us who was on the naughty and nice lists this year. Keeping my fingers crossed there.

Overall, it was a beautiful and intimate wedding, and I was honored to be a part of it. Georgina and Josh are a truly special couple, and I wish them all the love and happiness in the world. And to top it off, we got a photo with the bride and groom at the end of the night, which I've included below, as a little behind the scenes of what we look like on a wedding day!
