Hey there! My name is Peter, and I would love to be the photographer you choose for your wedding day!

I never thought I'd become a wedding photographer. Growing up, I went to a tonne of weddings, either as a guest or as a musician. I always loved them, but the idea of being a wedding photographer seemed like a far-flung impossible dream. Now, through whatever miracle the last few years has been, I've reached that dream. And man, it's a lot of fun.

My typical wedding journey

A wedding consists of a number of stages from my end. There's the first contact, learning about a new couple and their goal for their big day. Then when that's all done, the actual wedding itself, up at 7am to make sure everything is perfect and ready to go. Then it's a day which is always unique and full of surprises, which I get back from sometimes as late as 1am. And then it's backing up, once, twice, three times - trust me, you cannot have enough backups - before falling straight into bed to the best sleep of your life.

The next few weeks are taken up with days spent editing whilst listening to audiobooks (if you need any recommendations, hit me up. I've got some great finds!)

Then, the best part. Delivering the photos, and hearing the reactions back. It's always such a rewarding stage to have all the hard work pay off when the bride sends a message about crying looking through the shots. In a good way. Happy tears.
